Alright. I did have pics of the beginning of my Idaho trip, but I lost me beautiful camera. Not to worry... what was lost has now been bought anew! And I LOVE my new camera. Scott drove the 4 day long trip across Canada to meet me here. He is a crazy man!!! He did say that the hardest part was just that it was so long and so quiet with no children around. The kids were so glad to have him back and have been clinging like glue to their daddy since. They cry when he goes to the bathroom. I don't even want to think what will happen if he gets deployed. We had a BLAST at Bear World yesterday. Tyton thinks everything is a duck and he was thrilled to get to feed them and see so many up close. We were going to pay the extra and let Rory bottle feed a bear cub, but they wanted her to be at least four. Grrr... After riding a few rides and buying so fudge (MMM...) we took a drive through the park. Aurora was excited to see and Elk. It was about 1 foot from the car and Bugled right at us. Tyton feel asleep before we were two minutes in. It was cute. There were bears all over the bear section. It probably would have been more interesting to see bears if it wasn't so hot out. They were all just kinda sitting there. There was one bear towards the end that was right on the side of the road. I could have touched it, but I'm not that stupid. Plus we already got in trouble for petting the moose. It's not as bad as it sounds. They had a cool petting zoo with the usual animals, plus some deer. Tyton liked chasing the little goat and we ended up over by the moose pen. There was only a tall chicken wire fence keeping us from him. He saw us petting the goat and put his head down. Not aggressive at all. He wanted some love. We figured that if they didn't want people touching him than they would put a better fence there. He started pushing on the fence so we would pet harder and the lady ran over saying that we weren't supposed to touch him and that he was being aggressive. (There were no signs saying that and he was NOT be aggresive. Who cares. We got good pictures first!!
Other highlights... it snowed here!! It's gone now,,, but the kids still hav eto eat the remains of the snowman. Cannibal Children!!! Aurora misses her Papa Herbert and has taken up eating Cot Chee (cottage cheese) for breakfast. Only twice, but still!!! It's the thought that counts. Tyton has learned to say diaper and has a turning off Grandma Rhodes' TV fetish (very annoying) He also called Scott mama the whole first night he got here. I have been happily shopping the scrapbook stores and scrapping after the kis go to bed. Ahhh bliss.. we also ate at Scotty's yesterday. For those of you unfortnate people who havent' eaten there... They have yummy greasy burgers with REAL cheese, fries made fro REAL potatos, yummy milkshakes and FRY SAUCE!!!
Sorry for the long entry this time!!! I blame the loss of the camera!!! Keep looking for more updates.
