Snow and Birthday

We love the SNOW! For Aurora's actual birthday she wanted to play in the snow. We had fun lazying around and she picked everything we did. Tyton is definatly meant for some type of sport. The snow was perfect for snowballs and he has the best aim! It was crazy! We walked everywhere and they slid down every snow bank. She also wanted to play computer and make pumpkin bread. She ate bread while talking on the phone. She looked like a teenager. Tyton was a gentleman and waited patiently while Rory did everything first. He is such a good brother! It was a very relaxing day!

Aurora's party was yesterday and she had a blast! We had a Dora theme and I was going for cheap. Instead of expensive decoration I made a cheap Map! We ate pizza and went to eat cake, but Swiper had stolen it! He left a peice of the map and the kids ventured downstairs to our balloon filled hallway to find the next part of the map. (Can you say static!) Next was the "Starry Sky" (a wall of construction paper stars) where we did backwards pin the tail on the donkey to find a map piece. Then we decorated cupcakes and swiper felt bad since they all worked so hard that he brought the cake back. They had fun running around and doing it over and over. After the party we went to the Mall to see Santa. The kids listened so patiently to a story and earned a free book for it. Then we let them play at the playland there. She helped her brother the whole time and asked Santa for clothes, forgeting the "little bow and arrow" Daddy has been convincing her she wants. She is so grown up. I can't believe I have a 4 year old!
