Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I am thankful for..... This THANKSGIVING!!! My family came for a visit (All but silly Brett.) Our first order of business was to see Rushmore. We didn't realize the awesome museum beneath the outdoor viewing area. They had a TV where you select a picture and then push down on an old school blaster and it blows up that part of the mountain on the screen. The kids had so much fun with their silly Uncle and their fun Aunts. They also took all the attention the could from Grandma and Papa Rhodes. We drove through past the Needles and saw all sorts of wildlife, ate at a neat local restaurant and attempted to refine our Guitar Hero skills. Oh yes... we also ate a scrumptious dinner of which we had to much pie and now I have to eat it all since they are gone! Poor Jessica! We did smoke two ofScott's wild turkeys and they were DELICIOUS!

Scott took Taylor with him hunting and shot his third deer. He also went pheasant hunting with my daddy and shot some pheasants. Unfortunately we don't have retriever dogs and there were never able to find their game. Grr... It's the fun that counts right? Partly.... They were able to find the rabbits they shot!

Our children are now going through detox. So much vaca in a week has tuckered them out. We went to a baptism and a parade the day my family left. Tyton cried the whole way to the parade, then fell asleep in my arms at the baptism. Aurora started randomly crying and only wanted her mommy. The pic turned out cute! And they did get to see the baptism and learn some before the emotional break down. Tyton did wake for the food, but I made the mistake of sharing a plate with him. When I nibbled a muffin he broke down with the hugest Alligator tears. He almost feel asleep in nursery and they both took naps today and still went to bed early. Crazy kids.
