"The Hotz" Chicks & Sleep Overs

Scott went Snow Goose Hunting last Thursday-today and boy was it strange. We are pretty use to having him be gone for extended periods of time because of his job, but... With cross-training coming up he has been taking ALOT of time off. It's been so nice to have him home and all to ourselves. We don't like sharing! Ha ha... So I told the kids that if they were extra good all day Friday we would have a "Sleep Over" and we could all sleep downstairs in the living room. They were too cute. Aurora and Tyton even cleaned the whole living room with out being asked so that would could have this sleep over. They are such good kids! We then layed out the sleeping bags. They made a little nest for Grifin, but he is strange... He doesn't eat to fall asleep he would snuggle or rock to sleep... he just likes his bed and a blanket and he is out. I gave up and put him into his bed. The rest of us had fun staying up as late a possible and watching Avatar: The Last Airbender! Best bonding we have had in a while. The next morning we headed to Micheal's for FREE craft time! I love free.
Sunday we went over to "The Hotz" as Tyton would say. It's pronounced Huts, but since we have become such good friends we call them Gary and Melly, but Tyton seems sure that her name is The-Hotz! So cute. This weekend they purchased some chicks from Runnings, so they wanted the kids to come see them. We will miss Gary and Melly when we leave for TX, but I know they were be our friends forever!

A little chick kept poking it's head through this little hole in the box. Grifin was very confused!
We have way to much fun with them! We ended up leaving their home a little early because Scott came home a little early! Yeah!! They ended up with 118 geese total. We will have plenty of Goose Jerky!
