It's a.......!!!

Ok... we had our very first 3D ultrasound today and they are awesome! The ultrasound lady was hilarious. She kept complimenting us and the baby on how well it was positioned to see all the body parts. She was able to get ever vein out of the heart and every section of the brain. It's crazy what they check and she was hilarious. "Aww... what a perfectly cute front hemisphere. Your baby is so good. Oh, look at it's beautiful femur. It's sitting so perfect for everything." This is crazy cause every other time someone touches my tummy that much the baby has a heart attack and wants you out of it's space. She was worried that since it was sitting so still and perfect we might not get to see the sex. Magic... baby not shy about HIS private area. Hmm... Oh well... We are having a boy! Scott is very excited about finding the perfect name that strikes fear into the heart of anyone who wants to mess with "The Herbert Brothers." Next we were on to the 3D pictures of the face. Here is where he gets shy. You'd think, sitting in ther prefect spot, with is face up and everything else easy to see, you would get to see his handsome face. Nope. Like my other two children he is a snuggler. He held firm on shoving his face into the placenta so when the 3D scanned he looked like a mutant. I moved every which angle and the baby that moves all the time was busy hiccuping during his nap. I finally turned all the way from right to my left. This he didn't like, but still wanted to snuggle, so we got some good shots of him with his fist in is face. He would move it either. Only slightly to put up his other arm so that his whole face was covered. It was hilarious. I offically can't wait to hold him!!
