July 4th!

I love the 4th of July!  I love fireworks, the food, and the family time that it always seems to create!  This year we are in Texas.  My baby sis, Marina, and I dyed so T Shirts!  We were 10 minutes late to the church breakfast cause we had to let them dry...  lol.   The kids have never truely seen Fireworks.  Real or street, so this year just the street ones were a treat for them!  Last year we attempted Mt. Rushmore, but it was so cloudy all we saw were random glowing clouds.

We started the celebration with the morning breakfast at my parents ward here in Rhome, TX.  They had minute to win it games and a bike parade.  Of course.. I didn't bring the kids bikes so I made them some streamers on sticks to wave.  Grifin loved his!

The next night we lite fireworks.  Papa bought them each their own kiddy pack so they felt really special.  It was fun to watch everyone around the neighborhood light their too.  Grifin was in bed of course, but by the time our little pile of fireworks were done the kids were more than!  It was cute.  Aurora said, "Mommy... I'm to tired to go to bed."  They are so funny.  All that was missing was Scott!

Also... for dinner we have spaghetti and French bread... silly!
