So for those of you who haven't been blessed to live or travel pass a Chik-fil-a you need to know that it is by far the best fast food ever. They have the most amazing waffle fries and for sure the best lemonade. My favorite is the Grill Caesar Wrap. One of my most favorite things about them is that they are always closed on Sundays! I think it's amazing that they have truly proved that a fast food restaurant can stay open and profit even when observing a Day of Rest.
July 9th is the perfect day to tribute this wonderful establishment. Why? They host an "if you dress up as a cow you will receive a free meal"! Easy Cheesy! So... Me, Aurora, Tyton, Uncle Taylor, Aunt Marina and some of their friends planned Operation Save-The-Cows and had a day of adventure. We had a BLAST!
The most interesting part was the first stop. We drove up to a PACKED place and we could tell that NOBODY was dressed up. The whole group looked at me and kept asking if they were SURE that this was a real thing and that it was today. There was a sign when we first walked in! Whew. We did get several strange looks along with our free meal, but WHO CARES! IT WAS FRIGGIN FREEEEE!
The next place had balloons, prizes for the kids. They apperantly had an event everyday this week leading up to the dressing up! The last one we went to there wasn't even anybody in the store and even the workers gave us weird looks! Apperantly with this business it truly is location, location, location! We had a blast regardless and had a TON of fries and lemonade to prove it!
