Ok... It was half price Wednesday at the Fort Worth Zoo so we decided to go. Marina's... friend? Brandon and his sister, Briley, came too. They had never even been to the zoo!!!! Crazies! Beside the tons of people and the raging heat it was fun. We soaked up every mist sprayer that we could. They have a mini water tower with rope underneath. Someone pulls it and it sprays water over the square! I felt so bad for the kids who were asking to go under and their parents said NO! It was so hot we were dry before we got in the car. And we were soaked!
We got to see the Elephants take a bath! Crazy cause they are usually just standing still. We also heard the begging for lunch. Seriously... That was not the Elephant noise I was taught as a kid. It sounded like a kids screaming!
Grifin LOVED feeding the little birds. He did pretty good until he got one on his stick and tried to eat it. Of course... he did eat some of his seeds while I was busy helping Aurora and Tyton catch one. Marina and Brandon stayed out to watch the stroller.
Fun, but VERY hot day!
