Haunted House of Candy

With Scott's crazy work schedule we have family home evening whatever night possible. This week we decorated Haunted Houses! I was going to make actual Gingerbread, but I figured I would save that for Christmas when Grandma and Grandpa Herbert come. It is their family tradition! (I'll need your help mom!) I took it the (what I thought was going to be) easy way and glued graham crackers to milk and OJ cartons. (I drank a whole carton in 1 hour.) I also discovered a quick drying frosting that tastes great!

It was too much fun. Scott and I didn't get to decorate ours cause we had to much fun helping the kids! They were hilarious! We didn't eat as much candy as I thought we would. It wasn't until the end of it that the kids realized all this stuff covered in foil was chocolate. They were done decorating after that. Scott and I will decorate our later and I'll post pics.

Along with this I discovered a lot of cool Halloween candy. I totally recommend the Dr. Scab's Monster Lab chocolate pieces. These specific ones are shaped like ears, eyeballs, toes, lips... The eyeballs are filled with fudge and the lips with teeth are crunchy!
