A Texas New Years

After Christmas and cleaning up the house a bit we packed and headed out on our "Hunting Trip".  We told the kids we were hunting for an Amg's Esouh.   See...  Gma's House backwards!  lol  They never even asked what it looked like!  They just kept staring out the window and saying, "I can't see one!  When are we going to hunt!"  LOL  After staying in a hotel for the night Scott and I decided to tell them we were actually going to Texas.  He also mentioned it to a family in a restaurant we stopped at and the kids never noticed!  Crazies.  They were so excited the next morning.  They kept listing all the things they were going to do.  Mario Cart, Hold the new baby (Adrianne and Brett had a baby about 6 days before), play with Papa, Mario Cart, watch a movie with Grandma, Mario Cart, jump on the trampoline, and Mario Cart were a few things on their list.  

The morning after we got there we had "New Year's Eve" Santa.  My mom got presents for everyone and wanted to open them.  Santa comes twice at our house anyways.  He fills the stockings on New Years so we did it early knowing they wouldn't notice.  Mom was still at Adrianne's helping her with the baby so we hadn't seen her yet.  We were excited to see Grandma, Uncle Brett and Aunt Nanny, but we all wanted to hold the baby!  Here are a few pictures from the day.

 Grifin whined the whole time I held her.  I thought it was cause he was jealous, but nope!  He wanted to hold the baby!  He was very proud of himself.

 They were all still so tired from the past week and staying up with the new baby.  But don't Brett and Adrianne look so cute!

 Grifin loves his Papa.  He decided to help, but...  then he just wanted Papa to hold him!

 Grifin is a guy's guy.  He loves Uncle Brett.  Which is funny because last time they saw each other Brett Scared him once and Grifin welled up everytime he saw Uncle Brett that day!  Silly boys.

Papa got new parts for the "New" Jeep Wrangler.  Grifin helped him put some pieces on by hitting it with a little magnet.  I'm sure it helped!  lol
